Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV! Our picks for the week of April 21st include some captivating episodes, enticing premieres, and satisfying finales.

This week, we feature CSI: Vegas, Lopez vs. Lopez, Dead Boy Detectives, and more!

Here are our recommendations for what to watch on TV this week:

When Calls the Heart – Sunday, April 21st

When a case gets closed before they think it should, Rosemary and Bill team up to continue the investigation. Meanwhile, the women band together to start a daycare. When Calls the Heart airs Sunday, April 21st at 9/8c on Hallmark.

A father and son die when they come in contact with radiation, forcing the team to deal with a radioactive crime scene. CSI: Vegas airs Sunday, April 21st at 10/9c on CBS.

Episode Description: The CSI team investigates a radioactive crime scene that left a father and son dead.

The Equalizer – Sunday, April 21st

McCall is pulled in to track down the perpetrators of a mysterious poisoning when a former agent comes to her for help. Aunt Vi pushes Dee to stand up for her beliefs on climate change. The Equalizer airs Sunday, April 21st at 8/7c on CBS.

Episode Description: When a former Chinese agent is poisoned and comes to McCall for help, McCall tracks down the perpetrators and the antidote; Aunt Vi encourages Dee to protest against a well-known climate change denier.

All American – Monday, April 22nd

Spencer doesn’t remember anything after he parties a bit too hard on his 21st birthday, so he asks Coop for help. Meanwhile, Asher deals with the aftermath of his major life decision. All American airs Monday, April 22nd at 8/7c on The CW.

Episode Description: After celebrating his 21st birthday, Spencer enlists Coop’s help to figure out what happened at his party the night before; Olivia and Jordan reminisce about their childhood with Billy; Asher deals with the fallout of a tough decision he made.

Lopez vs. Lopez – Tuesday, April 23rd

It’s a double-header with the Lopez clan this week as George deals with troubling dreams, Chance tests at genius level, and Josué competes with Chance for Rosie’s affections. Lopez vs. Lopez airs Tuesday, April 23rd at 8/7c on NBC.

Episode 7 Description: When George’s vivid dreams reveal he has feelings for Rosie, he avoids sleeping and gets distracted at work; when Chance tests at a genius-level IQ, Mayan and Quinten fear that they’re a couple of dum-dums.

Episode 8 Description: Mayan worries when George gets into a hairy situation dating a hot hairdresser. Josué gets locked into a competition with the other man in Rosie’s life, her grandson, Chance.

Shogun – Tuesday, April 23rd

The epic series comes to a thrilling conclusion with Blackthorne finally realizing the true nature of Toranga’s plan in the wake of tragedy. Shogun season finale airs Tuesday, April 23rd at 10/9c on FX.

Episode Description: In the wake of a tragic death, Blackthorne finally considers the true nature of Toranaga’s plan.

Not Dead Yet – Wednesday, April 24th

Nell hopes to save her job when she finds out that Duncan has plans to sell the SoCal Independent. When an incident comes up that puts the sale on hold, Nell must then help navigate that. Not Dead Yet season finale airs Wednesday, April 24th at 8:30/7:30c on ABC.

Episode 9 Description: Nell finds out that Duncan is selling the SoCal Independent, so she takes matters into her own hands to save her job when Lexi seems unwilling to help. Then, Nell navigates an unexpected incident that leaves the sale of the newspaper on hold.

The Big Door Prize – Wednesday, April 24th

The Morpho machine continues to cause problems with the citizens of Deerfield. People still aren’t sure how they feel about knowing their potential but lacking the means to immediately reach it. The Big Door Prize premieres Wednesday, April 24th on Apple TV+.

Season Description: The Big Door Prize Season 2 picks up with the town of Deerfield continuing to grapple with the implications of the Morpho machine — a device that promises to reveal each person’s potential. The show’s second season delves deeper into the machine’s enigmatic promise as it readies residents for what it calls the “next stage.”

Animal Control – Wednesday, April 24th

An aggressive swan gives Frank and Shred a run for their money. Victoria has to work hard and cram for her exam after Emily makes a mistake that leaves little time for anything else. Animal Control airs Wednesday, April 24th at 9/8c on FOX.

Episode Description: Frank and Shred take on an aggressive swan; Shred has a meet-cute with a mysterious woman; Emily makes a mistake that results in Victoria having very little time to prepare for her big exam; Patel gets his father to help Victoria cram for the test.

Ghosts – Thursday, April 25th

What happens when the one truth the ghosts have come to accept is broken by the onset of new powers? Pete’s outlook on the afterlife changes once he realizes he can now leave the property, bringing him closer to Jay. Ghosts airs Thursday, April 25th at 8:30/7:30c on CBS.

Episode Description: Pete discovers a power that he never knew he had, one that brings him closer to his buddy Jay.

Dead Boy Detectives – Thursday, April 25th

A clairvoyant and two teenage ghosts work together to solve mysteries within the supernatural world. That is, until a powerful witch comes along and messes up their plans. Dead Boy Detectives premieres Thursday, April 25th on Netflix.

Them – Thursday, April 25th

The thriller anthology series continues with the introduction of a new story. This time, the story centers on LAPD Homicide Detective Dawn Reeve in the 90s as she investigates the murder of a foster parent. Them premieres Thursday, April 25th on Prime Video.

Season Description: Them Season 2 will take place in the 1990s and follows LAPD Homicide Detective Dawn Reeve as she investigates the gruesome murder of a foster parent.

Fire Country – Friday, April 26th

Public opinion about Three Rock has shifted toward the negative more and more in recent months, putting the future of the camp in jeopardy. Fire Country airs Friday, April 26th at 9/8c on CBS.

BMF – Friday, April 26th

When Meech and Terry travel to Miami to meet with Francois, Glock and the MK’s welcome them in true Miami fashion. Despite this, the brothers escape, determined to reach their goals. BMF airs Friday, April 26th at 8/7c on Starz.
